SwingLink

Press a SRAM brake lever and you notice it immediately. Less dead zone. More positive engagement. A new cam system requires less lever travel to push the pads toward the rotor. It’s great, but perfecting braking performance is about more than just power. You need control. Many braking systems minimize dead zone but at the expense of modulation. SwingLink solves this with its special cam shape. When the pads contact the rotor, the lever ratio curve is flat and smooth, avoiding the “on/off” brake feel.
