For sale here is a scarce Hardy Perfect wide drum fly reel - 4 1/4" diameter with Duplicated MKII check and spare un-engageable pawl. 1 9/16" spool width. Excellent+ condition. Early 1920s. Most of the original leading (and lacquer) remains on the reel surface. Full length original smooth alloy foot. Very tight reel mechanically. No line burns, cracks, chips, or dings. The reel foot measures 3 7/8" in length. The handle is pretty tight to its post but does rotate evenly. Made for tackle merchant Iver Johnson of Boston, Mass. Comes with serviceable silk line. The reel is 100% original, a very clean example, and very hard to find in such amazing condition!
