For sale here is a E.F. Payne Model 400 -- 9′ 3/2 light salmon rod for a #7 line. Original and excellent plus overall condition. This rod features beautiful dark cane, has an uplocking screw-lock reel seat with Payne's standard Spanish cedar spacer, and a 6" detachable extension handle with detachable rubber button. Wraps are brown with red tipping with additional wraps at the keeper and male ferrules. Comes with the original Payne rod bag and rod tube (and canvas tube cover with separate compartment for the handle extension. The rod weighs 6 7/8 oz. and the ferrule sizes are 11/64 & 17/64. A delightful Payne salmon rod in amazing condition!
