The rooster, in it`s exquisite feathered and colored costume, walks while crowing the early alarm of the break of dawn.  He looks out defiantly at the viewer from under the wattles crowning his head.  The ancient Greeks believed the Rooster rose to attention and saluted the sun every morning with a hearty cry, symbolizing victory over night. The bronze sculpture was produced using the lost-wax technique allowing the artist to create beautiful and realistic details in his plumage. It is coated in a brown patina finish for preservation and mounted upon a black marble base with the European Bronze Finery stamp of quality and the artist  Milo`s signature. The Art of Lost Wax
