Handstitched using repurposed textiles, the Sashiko Pillow Cover has a subtle yet intricate embroidered pattern. The patchwork pillow is made of a variety of stitches and fabric and is available in two color tones - cream and beige. The pillow is available in three variations: Line, Wave and patchwork.

We felt particularly drawn to the handmade pillow covers by Mr. Akiyama, which all embodied a sense of dynamism and playfulness. This traditional technique of sashiko stitching, dating back to the 17th century, was often used to reinforce garments and protect the wearer from the cold.
