SHANKU

To signify the five key elements of nature or the panch bhootas, 5 foundation stones are laid for the Neev Ka Muhurat. Beneath these stones are kept the custodians of pious positive energy, the Shanku. It is provisioned that each foundation stone should have a Shanku placed beneath it so as to embody the energy of these panch bhootas and cleanse the aura of the entire surround, destroying the elements of past sins and karmic defects that have dis-balanced the land’s energy.

Embodying the trident shakti or the universal principle force of our revered Tryambkeshwar Tridev, the upper spearhead part of the sanku symbolizes Shiva, the mid-part Vishnu and the bottom Brahma.

KURMA

As per the ancient Sanatan scriptures, the Kurmavtar of Lord

Vishnu is his second incarnation and is considered to be the most revered “preserver” deity. Kurma was also the pivot for the universal creation during the Samudra Manthan. To amplify the essence of manifold fortune and preservation of our assets, the Kurma is placed above the Shanku of the main Pillar stone.

SHESHNAG
The Sheshnaag or Ananta (signifying the infinite sequence of time) was the rope that churned the Meru Parvat on the anvil of the Kurma’s back. to recreate the infinite gains procured and elementary energy produced during the Samudra Manthan process, the shesh naag is placed above the Kurma.

PANCH KALASH
Panch Kalash represent  the five elements of universal creation. The foundation is the womb of the building and to keep the womb disinfected, fed and filled with energy, the 5 Kalashas are placed in a yantrik formation. The middle Kalash (Samudra Kalash) signifies the elemental life force and thus, there is a provision to put gems, mercury, aushadhiya rasas, algae etc. in it.

In the remaining four Kalashas (Padma, Mahapadma, Shankha and Makar), there is a provision to put ghee, curd, milk and lastly, the water collected from holy rives of key pilgrimages.

PANCH SHILAAYEIN
Panch Shilaye or the 5 Pillars of Life:

1. Nanda Shila: It is installed in the east direction, and is considered the harbinger of happiness.

2. Bhadra Shila: It is installed in the south direction seeking welfare for the world around us.

3. Jaya Shila: It is installed in the west direction, a zone for manifestation and wish fulfillment, the Jaya Shila ensures undefeated fame and unrestricted fortune for the dwellers.

4. Rikta Shila: It is installed in the north direction, it destroys poverty and keeps bad or harmful energetic imbalances at bay.

5. Purna Shila: Installed in the middle above the entire formation, the Purna Shila signifies completion and unhindered stability from here till ever after for your family, it completes all the works done by you.

Procedure :

1. Step One requires us to ensure that all of the Shankus are planted as shown in the picture. In the north-east corner, south-east corner, north-west corner, southwest corner and in the middle. Plant them little deep from the ground so that there is space for the kalash above them.

2. Install Kurma or Kachhapa over the Shanku in the middle.

3. Step Three, install Sheshnag ji on the kurma.

4. Then install the five Kalash, Padma in the east, Mahapadma in the south, Shankha in the west, Makar in the north and Samudra Kalash in the middle.

5. After this, install the four shilas- Nanda in the east, Bhadra in the south, Jaya in the west and Rikta in the north.

6. Finally, light the Diya in the middle and install Purna Shila in the middle.
