Take a little bit of 70's, add a touch of 30's, with a pinch of Olive Oyl...

And voilá! We have this dress. A fabulous interpretation of 1930's, styled by the 1970's. A full length dress or gown in a medium weight woven acetate fabric (very little stretch), featuring medium-sized white polka dots, on dark blue ground. The waistline is an inverted v-shape, giving a slight empire silhouette. The deep curved neckline and full length sleeves are finished with double-tier ruffles edged in self-fabric. The center back has a metal zipper and hook + eye closure. I believe this dress was home-made, due to the older metal zipper (phased out by the 70's) and zig-zag stitching utilized to finish the ruffles. Overall condition is excellent, with two small nicks/holes that have been repaired, no flaws to note!
