The inspiration for this design came from a mixture of places, but our main inspiration was Princess Jasmin! Aladdin was always one of my favorite movies as a child (ok, and as an adult
have you seen the remake with Will Smith?)
I loved how Aladdin was always positive and upbeat and solution-oriented! And Jasmin, so strong in her beliefs of what was right for her people
added so much to her beauty! She was who I had in mind when designing
Later, I went back to the video to see how she had translated into a headband and realized that my inspiration had basically come sub-consciously from her pants! Know what I mean?<
