The perfect addition to your Flapper ensemble or antique purse collection...

This gorgeous bag has black fabric main component, decorated with looped fringes of jet black glass faceted beads -giving it a subtle glittery effect. The frame is hand-pounded metal with a lovely floral motif that has been hand-painted with vivid red and green, plus creamy yellow. I really was initially attracted to this bag because of the contrast between subtle black glisten and the bright, juicy colors on the antiqued silver metal. Clasp is kiss lock style and holds shut beautifully. A sturdy, 23" drop linked chain serves as a long shoulder strap. I should mention that there is quite a bit of weight to this little devil! Condition is excellent, near mint with some overall signs of age, such as light patina to metal frame and one fringe has become unloved (I left it on). This is a very usable purse still and the fabric is still securely attached despite the lining being gone. No maker's marks or labels -sorry.
