Black silk skirt with satin finish is from Chanel's Autumn 1999 collection (A99). It is comprised entirely of overlapping "carwash flaps" or streamers of fabric. The streamers on the top layer are 7-inches wide. Wider pieces (17 inches) form a second layer and ensure privacy during movement. The skirt closes with a hidden side zipper.
