Hello summer! This late 1990's 100% silk terry cloth button up tank top originally came from May Department Stores International out of St. Louis, MO. It is a classic silhouette in a classic fabric, perfect for poolside attire or a hot summer day. This luxe fabrication of 100% silk terry cloth (usually terry cloth is cotton) boasts softness and water-absorbing technology that will keep you cozy on the beach or out to brunch. It has bold red and white horizontal stripes and opens / closes entirely down the center front with 9 clear buttons. The original tag has been cut from the neckline but the tag next to it still remains and reads "100% silk made in china, size small" with care instructions on the reverse side, "hand wash cold separately, do not wring or twist, only non-chlorine bleach when needed, line dry, warm iron.

Condition:

Great vintage condition with minimal wear, comes from smoke free home. There is one extra, spare button sewn inside at the bottom of the hem.
