The snap plaque is small (mostly a pull-over style) and the dress is meant to be worn loose, so it is best suited for an extra small to small. Use the hip measurement as a guide, and aim to be a couple inches smaller.
Condition
Fair to as-is. Still has life left, but there are several notable flaws.
The most obvious is a repair to a tear just above the center waist, alongside a tiny hole that has also been stabilized. Otherwise there is noticeable color bleed throughout. I managed to remove some of it, but is appears throughout as a watercolor effect, and is most noticeable on the matching sash where it appears speckled. The bowtie shows signs of fabric wear and fraying, and there are a few rusty water spots throughout. Lastly, the triangular segment of the skirt on the backside is riddled with holes. Thankfully, the bias cut coupled with the way this segment it sewn allows for that portion of the skirt to layer and ruffle, making it harder to notice the holes.
This is a very special piece that I attempted to restore with only minor improvements. So I am reselling it at my cost, and I believe it still has life left to give!
