This is the authentic costume worn my actress Elizabeth Taylor, in the 1987 made for TV film "Poker Alice". This outfit was designed by Nolan Miller. The costume consists of a fitted jacket, skirt, and matching hat, in a Victorian style. The entire outfit is made from a blue wool with black velvet trim and black embroidered detail on the jacket and skirt drape. The Jacket is heavily padded in the bust area and has boning at the waist. The skirt has a front drape and back bustle. It is longer in the back to create a small train. The hat is decorated with feathers and tulle. Ms. Taylor can be seen wearing this costume in the movie poster.
