UBER COLLECTIBLE PIECE, MADE IN FRANCE....1980s vintage $1000+ cocoon dress by YVES SAINT LAURENT RIVE GAUCHE. Super sought-after, this belongs in a fashion exhibit.....In Harvest Gold wool, this is thick and durable but EXTREMELY comfy. Love LOVE the "pirate" sleeve and Avant Garde shape of the whole thing. Shoulder buttons and 2 front pockets. Believe it or not, this olive sash WAS the optional sash that came with it, so it is included. Probably had shoulder pads at one time but they were removed. FULLY LINED....EXCELLENT vintage condition; if you look very closely you will see a tiny bit of darkening near the bottom of the skirt (last pic) but no one would notice unless you pointed it out, of course.
