1970s Snakeskin Oxford Platforms from Kings RoadThese platforms were purchased in the early 70s on Kings Road while on honeymoon in London. They expertly made by a trained cobbler with real snakeskin, stacked wood heel, and lined with soft leather. They are nearly identical pairs that were imported to America by Jumping Jack Flash in NYC. They are also very reminiscent of boots carried by Granny Takes a Trip and could very well have been made by the same cobbler.
