We still can't believe this find is real! Feast your eyes on this luxe (to say the least) 40% mohair, 5% nylon, and 55% wool blend cardigan which was made in Italy for Bullock's California...a piece of fashion history! With it's wide crew neck and button closure, this pale yellow cardigan is the perfect early mid-century vintage classic. It was creatively-and skillfully constructed with a knit design that starts out with wide stitches at the hems which get smaller throughout the bodice and wide again at the neckline. It is medium-weight with long sleeves and easy to layer with... a timeless wardrobe piece. It has it's original woven labels inside the neckline which read, "Made in Italy for Bullock's California, 40% mohair, 5% nylon, and 55% wool, size 38 , made in Italy". The labels note the size as 38 and it fits like a modern day women's US size medium.

Condition:

Great pre-loved condition for its age with no rips or stains. It does look like the knit has been carefully reinforced around the neckline with hand stitching.
