If clearance is tight, you may need to use a jack pad under the original reinforced lifting points, or use a different lifting method for routine maintenance.

Do I need to drill new holes for fastener placement?

The molded panel retains factory mounting bosses along the rocker and door sill area. Compare the panel to your vehicle's original mounting scheme before drilling. Some builders use adhesive in addition to bolts for additional security—sand both surfaces lightly and use quality adhesive rated for automotive FRP if you choose this method.

What prep is needed before painting?

Sand the surface with progressively finer grit to smooth the mold finish, then wipe clean and allow to dry.
