What tools do I need to get this on?
You'll need a socket set, a breaker bar for the axle nut, and a jack with stands. A wheel puller or bearing splitter speeds up removal of the old unit if it's seized. Refer to your vehicle's service manual for torque specs and removal sequence.
Can I reuse the rotor or do I need a new one?
The rotor is separate from this assembly. If your rotor is worn, scored, or below minimum thickness, replace it. A new rotor and fresh pads are often installed at the same time for best braking performance.
