65% dyed shell, 25% recycled brass, 10% plastic beads, finished with 18k gold plating. Real shell means each piece varies slightly in colour and chip shape, so no two of these necklaces are identical. The recycled brass through the chain and findings is a small but real material choice from Orelia.
