The Beaver, she is a stunning super rare 70s velvet midi length smock dress by renowned and coveted designer of the time Kate Beaver.

Beaver is truly a very special piece. She has an amazing full smock silhouette with voluminous sleeves and a pintuck neckline. She has embroidery down her centre yoke and the most amazing leaf emblem screen printed pattern to her skirt and sleeves. Beaver was known for her screenprinting and textile design. This is truly a fine example of her work and a true collectors piece.

Beaver has been freshly laundered and is ready to wear. Please hand wash only. She is in good vintage condition. She has some marks to her velvet in places, which are absolutely to be expected with vintage velvet, the most prominent is on her left shoulder, does not detract at all, and velvet fabric blends well, see last photo for more.

This beauty has minimal signs of vintage wear, but please bear in mind that our pieces are true vintage, they’ve been danced in and they have been lived in, so all of our garments will carry your usual signs of vintage wear. Anything that we think is outside of what would class as usual vintage wear, we will state.
