Original vintage 1950s black and cream dot wool skirt suit.

The cut of the jacket is everything you could want of a design from this era. So Dior New Look.
Neat rounded shoulders, slim sleeves and an hourglass bodice nipped in at the waist. Trimmed with a fine grosgrain at the collar, cuffs and pockets and fastening with three carved buttons. All made in a fine woven wool flecked with cream dots.
The skirt is fitted at the waist with a pencil cut and pleated hem at the back for movement. Fully lined.
Also included is a 1950s cream cotton blouse by SPEAKE

Wear as a complete suit with pointed courts or the jacket with full skirts and the skirt with sweaters. So many ways to style.
