How do I prepare the edges before installation?

Sand the panel perimeter and any contact points with 220-grit or finer to remove manufacturing debris. Check fit against the existing trunk opening before final installation. Seal the exposed carbon edges with your chosen clear coat to prevent moisture infiltration.
