Super luxe and rare 1930s chocolate brown silk velvet dress with embroidered cream polka dots and little clusters that look like molecules. Deep front cowl (could be worn backwards), interesting panel on sleeves at elbow, long sleeves with snap at cuffs, self belt (not pictured on dress form), side snaps. condition: excellent vintage condition - item shows typical signs of wear due to occasional use. It looks like there used to be a cream silk lining that was removed, this is only visible on the inside, when examining the seams. The velvet is crushed a bit under the arms, not noticeable when worn. The self belt is missing a couple rhinestones and one brown stone.
