Meet Folie, she is a stunning and rare 1970s romantic spring dream dress by Gina Fratini for Fiona Dresses.. You will all know well of my love affair with Gina now, she is my favourite designer of the period by far, and this beauty was part of her high street boutique collaboration line with Fiona Dresses in the early 70s. I have had this dress in two colourways in the past, but never blue, and I do think this is my favourite yet. She is made from a stunning unusual fabric which has a beautiful texture, I believe this is some kind of cotton blend and is high quality. She has double layered sleeves, a scoop neckline, high waist with side ties to cinch and a full length flowing skirt. Her print is to die for, on a white base and filled with shades of beautiful blue.. When worn I can promise you this dress looks insane, I can't wait to see where she is heading..

The Folie has been freshly laundered and is ready to wear. She can safely be washed at home on a cool setting. She is in good vintage condition, she has a few minor signs of wear. Has a faint mark on her bodice, I have tried to remove this and it has faded, but it really isn't noticeable, I do wonder if it is actually a fabric flaw. See last photo. This has been reflected in her price.

 This beauty has minimal signs of vintage wear, but please bear in mind that our pieces are true vintage, they’ve been danced in and they have been lived in, so all of our garments will carry your usual signs of vintage wear.
