Joan is a hand-painted conversational print inspired by Walter Crane’s classic The Four Seasons, reimagined through a modern Arts and Crafts lens. Framed by ivy, each vignette captures a season in bloom, filled with florals and a charming array of animals including peacocks, swans, bees, and hares.

Part of the Collaboration chapter in Liberty’s 150th anniversary collection, it celebrates the creative dialogue between past and present in Liberty’s design legacy.

This anniversary collection shines a light on the makers behind the magic, exploring the designers, illustrators, and printmakers who have helped shape Liberty’s story.

Divided into three themes - Craftsmanship, Collaboration, and Collectibles. From the Studio offers a rare glimpse into the creative process, from initial sketches and hand-painted artwork to digital experimentation and final fabric prints. A true celebration of Liberty’s legacy in printmaking and storytelling.
