A vintage rayon tie from the early 1950s. The base is a muted lilac and it has red, white and black accents. The design is s quite abstract but it almost looks like lobster crackers. This tie would work well for every season/occasion and its a great way to add some colour to an outfit.
COLOUR: Purple, Red, White, Black
BRAND: Van Heusen
MATERIAL: Rayon
MEASUREMENTS:
- Length: 50.5"
- Width (tongue): 4.5"
- Width (tail): 2.5"
CONDITION: Good! With a few flaws to note:
- There is some mild staining on the front of the the tongue of the tie (On the white circle)
- Two small holes behind the label (probably from a price tag at some point?)
- There is some blue staining seen throughout the tie. It's not noticeable due to the colour and material of the tie but we wanted to make a note of it.
- Inner crease (if you were to fold the tie in half) is slightly faded (it appears more prominent in the photos than it is in real life)
