A long-lost manga adaptation from the Macross series.

As part of the 10th anniversary project for Super Dimension Fortress Macross, the OVA series Macross II: Lovers Again was produced. Its manga adaptation was handled by Tsuguo Okazaki, known for works such as Justy, and was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Sunday special issues from May to December 1992.

Now, more than 30 years later, it has been re-released as a new edition, using scans from the original artwork and enhanced with the latest digital production techniques. It also includes rare color illustrations that were originally published in the magazine during serialization.

In the year 2009, a girl performed a miracle. Her miraculous song echoed through the despair of outer space, bringing an unprecedented massive battle to an end. Eighty years later, a new conflict begins...
