No. The glass pops out from the existing mirror body using the factory tabs. You don't need to disconnect wiring or remove the mirror bracket from the door.

Only if the housing tabs are intact and the body isn't bent. If the mounting points are broken, the glass won't seat properly. Inspect your housing before ordering.
