Do I need to drain the cooling system to install this?

Yes. Drain the coolant to a safe level before disconnecting the old tank. Once the new tank is secured at the factory mounting points, refill to the proper level and bleed air from the system per your service manual.

Will this work with my current coolant, or do I need to flush the system?

Use whatever coolant type your vehicle originally called for. A complete system flush is not required unless your existing coolant is contaminated or has exceeded its service life.

What hardware do I need to secure this tank?
