From Incan times to today, alpaca fiber has been treasured—once valued higher than gold or silver. Generations of Andean artisans have passed down spinning and knitting techniques, blending time-honored craftsmanship with modern design while honoring ethical heritage.

Alpacas roam freely in the highlands of the Peruvian Andes and are not harmed during shearing. Their soft padded feet are gentle on the terrain, and their grazing preserves root systems. Alpaca naturally occurs in up to 28 colors and can be blended into countless shades, easily dyed while retaining its signature luster.

Supple, smooth, and ultra-light, alpaca is softer than cashmere and warmer and stronger than lamb’s wool. Microscopic air pockets create excellent insulation without bulk, delivering cloud-like softness and exceptional warmth—without the use of harsh chemicals in production.
