Do I need to remove the entire control arm to use this press?

Not always. Most ball joint anchor pin work can be done with the control arm still mounted or partially lowered. Check your vehicle's service manual for suspension geometry before you start — some models let you work in place, others need the arm dropped for clearance.

Will this press work on my truck if it has a different ball joint brand?

The adapters in this set are sized to fit standard anchor pin diameters across domestic and import light trucks. If your ball joint uses a non-standard or pressed stud, test-fit the adapter on the pin before you commit to the press operation.

What comes in the box besides the press frame?
