Made from rare Suvin cotton, an extra-long staple cotton grown in southern India, the fabric is exceptionally soft with a subtle silk-like lustre. Lightweight and breathable, it remains comfortable even in warmer weather. The garment is piece-dyed, giving the fabric a naturally soft texture and gentle washed appearance.

The Light Mud colour is created using the traditional mud-dyeing techniques of Amami Oshima, Japan. The garment is dyed with natural pigments extracted from Fukugi trees native to the island, then mordanted in iron-rich mud sourced from ancient soil strata dating back approximately 1.5 million years.

Due to the use of natural dyes, slight variations, uneven tones, or dye pooling may occur, making each piece unique. With wear and time, the plant and mud dye will gradually develop a rich patina and distinctive character. Colour fading is a natural part of this process.
