This small-sized OPEIA pendant from Berry’s Jewellers takes inspiration from the Cassiopeia constellation found in the Northern sky that was named after Queen Cassiopeia, mother of Andromeda. Comets that leave trails of light behind them and shooting stars that illuminate the night sky have formed the inspiration behind this 125th-anniversary collection, which celebrates five generations of Berry’s Jewellers. Just as imaginary lines connect one star to another when forming a constellation, the infinite shape of each diamond-encrusted circle seen in the new OPEIA jewellery collection is connected by strands of precious metal, diamonds and gemstones. This small OPEIA pendant has been crafted from 18ct rose gold and showcases a total of 5 large round brilliant-cut diamonds connected by a series of graduating round brilliant-cut diamonds. All of the stones are neatly secured inside claw settings for maximum brilliance and the pendant attaches to a matching 18ct rose gold chain. The OPEIA pendant secures with a classic lobster-style clasp and a signature “B”-shaped charm. The diamonds incorporated into this beautiful celestial-inspired OPEIA pendant amount to a total weight of 0.97 carats and each has a colour and clarity grading of G and VS.
