Early 1980s long sleeve rib knit sweater dress by Italian designer Laura Biagiotti. Bishop-like dolman sleeves with ribbed cuffs. Bateau neckline, cinched waist panel, below-knee length. No opening. 

COLOUR: Brown, black, beige/tan. 

MATERIAL: Probably acrylic, possibly with a silk blend as it feels quite soft, smooth and is a little shiny. 

LABEL: Laura Biagiotti. Made in Italy. (Creed's Toronto). 

Laura Biagiotti was an Italian fashion designer, and the founder of the House of Biagiotti. She opened her first store in Florence and had her first fashion show in 1972. In 1995, she received an award from the President of Italy for her contributions to fashion. 

CONDITION: Faint red marks on right cuff and right side of back neck, which almost looks like its the yarn colour itself. Some other marks/ discolouration in various places (see photos). A number of yarn pulls. Still in wearable condition.
