A classic silhouette rendered in a mesmerising design, this original 1960's Gene Shelly black wool evening dress, embellished with gold glass beadwork, is a timeless classic. 

The V shaped neckline is framed by medium width shoulder straps, which set off the sleeveless cut and matching V shaped backline. The neckline is embellished with a wide border of gold glass bugles beads, which are edged with a smaller border of small gold glass beads, which begin to scatter in the pattern along the bust-line. The elegant fitted bodice, draws in along the waistline, which is set off by a matching wool belt, embellished with scattered glass beadwork. The fitted silhouette of the dress, is finished with a side split along the left hand side, which is framed by gold beadwork to match the pattern of the neckline. This dress is fully lined in silk chiffon
