Vintage 1940's sensational gypsy dress in a rayon crepe in a bright coloured paisley print and contrast colour blocking. This is a divine piece of 1940's fashion, a silhouette we have only seen in fashion catalogues from the time and not in person. It features a gathered neckline which can be worn as more of a rounded neckline or off the shoulder shape with brown ties. It has a 3/4 sleeve with matching gathers to the cuff and brown tie fastening. The bodice is made from a delightful colourful rayon in a paisley print and features a scooped neckline. The dress then falls into a chocolate brown contrast rayon crepe swishy skirt. The dress fastens to the side with press stud fastenings. This piece can be styled in so many ways due to the silhouette of the dress. It would look fabulous for both day and eveningwear occasions. 

An exquisite addition to any 1940's wearers collection. A lovely treat to yourself, friend or loved one.

Very Good Vintage Condition, flaws to note - 1 small 1cm slit to the skirt which isn't visible as is hidden under the peplum. This could be repaired with a backing and stitch to strengthen if desired. This piece presents beautifully.
