Created by Sir Grayson Perry for Liberty’s 150th anniversary, this eclectic print is inspired by Shirley Smith, a fictional outsider artist from Perry’s imagination. Designed in celebration of his 65th birthday and the Wallace Collection’s Delusions of Grandeur exhibition, the print features a playful take on Hertford House and a scattering of cats, reflecting Shirley’s quirky obsessions and Perry’s unmistakable storytelling style.

Since opening its doors on Regent Street in 1875, Liberty has been synonymous with artistry and innovation in textile design. This anniversary collection shines a light on the makers behind the magic, exploring the designers, illustrators, and printmakers who have helped shape Liberty’s story.

Divided into three themes - Craftsmanship, Collaboration, and Collectibles. From the Studio offers a rare glimpse into the creative process, from initial sketches and hand-painted artwork to digital experimentation and final fabric prints. A true celebration of Liberty’s legacy in printmaking and storytelling.
