About Dzi Beads (Chong Dzi Beads):

Dzi Beads are ancient beads originating from Tibet. Similar to etched carnelian, they are designed by burning natural dyes onto agate. It is believed that they were created around the 1st to 6th century AD. However, there are still many mysteries surrounding these beads, particularly regarding the components of the dyes used. While primarily found in Tibet, they have also been discovered in Bhutan and Ladakh in the Himalayan region.
