This print tells the story of how the Paniolo historically transported their cattle to market. Before modern docks and ground transport existed in Hawaii, the Paniolo would herd the cattle directly into the ocean at locations such as Kailua-Kona or Kealakekua Bay. With the help of specially trained swimming horses, the cattle were guided to vessels waiting offshore, where they were finally hoisted aboard using a ship-board crane and slings. This tee is durable and built to last, with a super soft enzyme wash.
