Vintage 40s Gilbert Adrian blazer. Extremely rare, yet wearable collector’s find in wonderful condition. Exquisitely structured, impeccably tailored in crisp, sturdy silk twill. The fabric is ingeniously woven in a striped pattern. Featuring a slim collar, front welt pockets, sharp shoulder pads, faceted black glass button closure, and black crepe lining. CONDITION:
Very good condition. Some very minor fading at the top of the shoulders - hard to see and doesn’t show much in photos due to lighting reflections. The top button near the collar is slightly bigger than the others, and is difficult to get through it’s buttonhole. I believe this one button is plastic so it's likely a replacement. Visually it’s exactly like the other buttons, just a tad bigger. The lining is also in very good condition, with no flaws noted.
