You'll need hardware to secure it at the factory mounting points. Check your OEM fastener size before ordering — this valance does not include mounting bolts or clips.

Can I paint this right away or does it need prep work?

Prepare the surface with light scuffing and clean off any dust before primer and paint. Standard bodywork process applies — treat it like any hard plastic panel.

Will this work if my bumper is damaged or do I need a full replacement?

This is the center section only. If your side valances are intact, replacing just the center piece works fine. If the entire bumper assembly is cracked, you may need the full bumper cover instead.
