Description - Matching knit set from the 80s that includes a tank top and shorts. The top ties at the shoulders and has elastic in the hem. It has a big aqua V on the front with pink piping. The fabric above the V is mesh. The shorts have the same aqua and pink as stripes on the sides. They have an elastic waist.

Size - The top is labeled Medium and the shorts are labeled Large but they are both closer to a modern XS. Please check all of the measurements to ensure fit 

TOP:

Chest - approximately 16.5" pit to pit, stretches to 21"

Waist - 12.5" across, stretches to 24"

Length - approximately 17" but the strap is adjustable in both directions

SHORTS:

Waist - 11" across, stretches to 20.5"

Hips - approximately 17" across, stretches to 22"

Rise - 11"

Inseam - 1.5"

Outseam - 9.75"

Leg Opening - 9.75" across, stretches to 14"

Condition - The elastic in the waist feels twisted. It doesn't affect the wearability and I think with some patience you could probably fix it. I found one little sewing flaw next to the armhole where the fabric didn't get tucked under completely. I don't see any holes or stains though.
