The Seiko Prospex, short for "Professional Specifications," is a renowned collection of Seiko watches designed for sports, adventure, and professional use. Originally introduced in the late 1960s, the Prospex line has gained a reputation for its durability, reliability, and high performance in challenging environments. The Seiko Prospex Turtle series with a grey dial,  nicknamed "Dawn Grey" due to its colour scheme resembling the early morning sky.

The Dawn Grey theme pairs a silver/grey dial, bezel and chapter ring with a highlight burst of orange marking the initial dive time on the bezel, this colour scheme in Seikos own words should remind you of the colour of dawn over the sea, orange-tipped seconds hand, and subtle orange markers at the 3,6,9,12 on the chapter ring.

The Turtle execution of colours, fit and finish is essentially the same as the Seiko Prospex Samurai. Differences include a 45mm wide case and 13.42mm height making this watch rather large but still very comfy on the wrist!

The beautiful metallic silver/grey sunburst dial which has dive time markings running round the bezel from the 0 - 20 minute marker, aligning with the position of the crown. But the most important identity marker is the cushion shaped case, a shape that became known as the turtle case.

It’s equipped with the Seiko Caliber 4R36 automatic movement, which displays time, date and day of the week. It’s a sturdy, reliable movement with a solid 41-hour power reserve. The watch has a water resistance of up to 200 meters. This is an exceptional limited edition watch with the build quality and attention to detail being second to none!
