By popular demand, we’re proud to introduce a single breast pocket on our best-selling Mayfair shirt. Use it for sunglasses, a post-it with your best ideas, or even a pocket protector to house your perfect assortment of writing instruments. Such a simple addition, but so important to so many (as we have learned.)

The Mayfair is one of the original styles from our Classic Collection, a selection of timeless dress shirts with crisp collars and refined finishes in solid white, pink, or blue.

Featuring the small spread collar and beautiful two-ply 120-count poplin, the Mayfair also has convertible cuffs—easily worn buttoned, rolled up, or dressed up with cufflinks—making this shirt suitable for professional and formal occasions as well as post-event unwinding.

Fabric

Egyptian cotton is a rare variety of cotton that is renowned as some of the best in the world. It has an extra long staple, which means it has longer fibers, resulting in a silkier, more durable fabric. Poplin, sometimes called broadcloth, is a plain weave which means the threads alternately cross over and then under each other. This results in a very smooth and durable fabric that has an almost silky hand feel, particularly with higher thread counts. Also, poplin looks very crisp when ironed.
