This is a cover replacement, not a sensor housing. Before installing, reference your vehicle's OEM bumper hole locations and sensor placement. You may need to drill sensor cutouts to match your existing wiring and hardware — or verify your sensors mount to the underlying support structure rather than the cover itself.

What prep work is needed before painting?

Sand and prep the surface with appropriate grit to promote paint adhesion, then apply your chosen primer and topcoat system. FRP requires proper surface preparation for paint bond — skip this step and finish won't hold long-term.
