Beautiful MCM vintage signed Bergere multi colored pastel art glass beaded necklace. This beautiful piece was hand knotted on silk strands between each of it's stunning art glass beads. The beads are oblong and ovular in shape and range in different pastel textured variegated colors like orange, yellow, pink, green, blue, and off-white. It closes with it's original brass barrel clasp and a small brass tag hangs near the clasp which is signed by the designer "Bergére". It sits at a flattering 17" in length...slightly longer than a choker, but just shorter than princess length. A fun, unique way to add some color to your wardrobe.

Bergere was founded in New York in 1940 by L. Erbert & Pohls Inc and produced glamorous Bergere jewelry from 1947 to 1979. Distinguished by high quality materials and exquisite design, their luxe costume jewelry has been very popular with women and jewelry lovers. Products marked Bergere were highly sought after since they often appeared on the pages of fashion magazines and advertising posters.
