A comfortable and durable dog shoe that features a water resistant ripstop nylon outer and a fleece lining. A cotton cuff folds down easily to allow the shoe to be put on. Most importantly, the sole is a thick and textured rubber, meaning the shoe will be long lasting for even large and heavy dogs. A perfectly placed wide ankle strap has the vital cinch buckle at the front, allowing the strap to be pulled much tighter than you could manage wrapping it manually. There's also a thoughtful belt keeper in the back, meaning the strap will stay exactly at the ankle and not slide around - a cause of many lost shoes. The belt keeper is even anchored on the sole of the shoe (on all but XXL size) to prevent the strap from putting pressure on the fabric. 

Though this is still a roomy shoe, the tailoring means it isn't anywhere near as baggy and floppy as other comparable shoes, and the extra long sole accommodates dogs with a rolling step that may walk 'behind' the sole of some shoes.

When measuring your dog for shoes, the width is the important factor - the sole is usually 'too long' compared to the paw because of how dogs walk!
