Vintage 1940's striking platter hat, in a true Cadbury Purple adorned with mixed flowers.  Such a beautiful coloured purple base adorned with a mixture of individual violets and clusters of  pansies and delicate leaves and stems, some velvet and so tactile.  2 quite large lilac velvet bows are symmetrically placed either side amongst the cascade of flowers and some veiling.  Fully lined with an internal structure to sit onto head and internal elastic band to secure onto head.  Typical shape of its era, and so versatile as can be worn several ways dependant upon desired hairstyle of the day.  A beautiful hat worn and its beauty can be seen from all directions. 

A lovely treat for oneself or a special friend. A gorgeous colourway accessory , for that impeccable suit, special dress or day dress.

 Very Good Vintage Condition - flaws to note : a couple of tiny breaks in the veiling but all intermingled with flowers and obviously not seen when wearing.  Ready to wear and enjoy.
