About Dzi Beads (Chong Dzi Beads):

Dzi beads are ancient beads from Tibet, similar to etched carnelian, where natural dyes are baked onto agate to create intricate designs. These beads are believed to have been made between the 1st to 6th centuries AD. The exact composition of the dyes used in the baking process remains a mystery, adding to their enigmatic allure.
