The clamp system mounts at factory bed rail points. If you run aftermarket racks or rails, test-fit before committing—you may need to relocate or space out your existing accessories.

How do I unlock it without a key?

The lock is integrated into the cover itself. Keep your key with you or your truck—there's no override or master key option.

Can I open it with the tailgate down?

You'll need the tailgate up to unlatch and slide the cover back. Full tailgate clearance isn't possible with the panel in the down position.
